Milo Winter was born in 1886 in Princeton, Ill., and died in 1956 in New York. He was known as an illustrator  of children books like ‘Arabian Nights’, ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Gulliver’s Travels’. From 1947 to 1949, he was the art editor for Childcraft Books, and from 1949, he worked for the movie department of Silver Burdett Company.
