The Iconographie des Perroquets… were initially meant as a supplement to the works by Levaillant and Saint-Hilaire. These beautifully hand coloured and high-lightend with gum arabic lithographs by J.Daverne depict parrots from mainly Central and South America. The paper measures 32 x 21. Some cropping on the left hand margin occurs.
