Dietrich (1800-88) followed the family trade and became a botanic gardener. After taking his doctorate, he became curator of the Jena university herbarium. He wrote various and very specific treatise on German flora. – Original hand coloured copper engravings; exc. cond. Please note that plate sizes vary! Also note slight differences in paper colour. Margin sizes vary, too, but there is plenty of space for framing.
