Nicolas Sanson le fils (1625-1648) was the son of Sanson le pere, France's most prolific cartographer, and was supposed to inherit his father's firm; he tragically died from gun shot wounds. – This map is from the rare Dutch edition, engraved by Antoine de Winter.
